If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know I invite a monthly guest onto Balance Practice to share their notes and perspective on what balance and practice looks like as real life is happening.
Balance is such a dynamic and personal practice, varying widely from person to person, day to day, and moment to moment. For some that might look like writing or running, and for others it could be crafting botanical remedies or blending aromatherapy oils… Perspectives are diverse and yet there’s a common thread — slow down, breathe deeply, and pay attention. There are so many ways to connect to ourselves, to balance, and to each other when we do this.
I started this newsletter to explore the themes of balance and practice, to unpick the notion of perfect equilibrium, and to offer reference points for how we might harmonize doing with being. I pose the same set of questions monthly and I’m always inspired by the insights that emerge from Practice Ways — and also from the notes shared in our community here. I hope you are, too!
